Thanks for letting TechLunch group know about your blog post, I really enjoyed your insight. The barriers that you speak of? These were issues for me, and I'm sighted!

The captcha was difficult to make out, and the audio was even harder due to the masking. I finally succeeded by requesting a new captcha that I could make out easier. Even worse was a captcha I experienced to join a Yahoo! Group recently. I could not make out the captcha, and there was a link that said something to the affect of, "If you have trouble reading this captcha, click here". I expected to be provided a new captcha to try our an audio, but instead it was a pop up menu that defined what a captcha was. I think I finally succeeded by refreshing to page to generate a captcha that I could identify.

Linking Facebook to Twitter is not something that I had figured out how to do, so you just educated me. Thank you, I will try it soon.

Regarding the facebook optional applications, ninety percent of them are more trouble then they are worth. I do not want anymore join my mob war requests. Accepting application requests throws me into another window that asks for me to send this application to friends. I find this very annoying. The only applications I use frequently are dopplr.com and iRead.
